Volunteering at the heart of county Meath
Volunteering is at the heart of communities, and Meath is a great place to volunteer. Volunteering enriches communities, gives volunteers an opportunity to develop personally, and puts giving at the heart of how we all live.
Volunteers
Registering with Meath volunteer centre places you under no obligation to volunteer. We will meet with you where possible and discuss the various volunteering opportunities that might interest you. Click here to find out more.
We also have volunteer centre led initiatives that in conjunction with community partners, we look to place volunteers in much needed specific community volunteer projects – such as our Meath community car scheme
In our Volunteering section, we also have lots of useful information on volunteering in general, how we as a centre work with volunteers, and a step by step guide to using our site.
Volunteer Involving Organisations
If your organisation engages volunteers, or is thinking about it, go to our organisational pages to learn more about our services. You can also find out more about our Volunteer Management Training, Garda Vetting and other support services to volunteer involving organisations throughout Meath. In our organisations section, we also have links to other useful information including case studies of organisations involving volunteers.
For all volunteers and voluntary organisations, we are here to help you, so please feel free to contact us and ask what we can do for you.
