Meet our Volunteer Centre Team
Emma Golesworthy, Manager & Meath Volunteer Centre's Garda Vetting Liaison Officer
Emma is the Manager of Meath Volunteer Centre and is responsible for the day to day management of the Centre. She is also one of the Centre's volunteer management trainers and our appointed Garda Vetting Liaison Officer.
In addition to the day to day management of the centre Emma focuses on building and developing relationships with local volunteer involving organisations, supporting them to identify where potential volunteering opportunties may lie within their organisation and offering support and advice on all other aspects of volunteer management. Emma is also responsible for the effective recruitment and management of volunteers, matching their skills and supporting them in their volunteering.
We look to involve the Volunteer centre in the wider community and voluntary sector throughout Meath; playing an important role in creating awareness of the contribution Volunteers can make, and facilitating community groups in service provision to their users throughout the county.
Meath Volunteer Centre office opens from 9.00am-5.30pm Monday-Friday.
